I followed the above twice.
when i was done the first time Rooter stooped showing my info on the Modem.
The original issue was it would not connect. It keeps saying connecting. Every thing here checks out.
the sim works on another modem. Rooter works fine with the other modem installed.
If i reset the hardware back to OEM then Rooter reports the modem fine.
I'm not sure what command breaks it.

but I still get these

Code: Select all

Tue Oct 17 17:48:07 2017 : Attempting to Connect Modem #1 (Sierra_Wireless,_Incorporated Sierra_Wireless_MC7455_Qualcomm®_Snapdragon™_X7_LTE-A)
Tue Oct 17 18:07:28 2017 : Attempting to Connect Modem #1 (Sierra_Wireless,_Incorporated Sierra_Wireless_MC7455_Qualcomm®_Snapdragon™_X7_LTE-A)
Any Help would be great

Anyone have any ideas? ive been going over this in circles, added a more powerful power supply and still no luck.
after running those last commands and resetting the roooter firmware and rebooting Rooter still doesn't connect and it doesn't recognize the modem again until i do a full OEM reset on modem. Even though when i run the status command it comes back looking like its connecting.
Any ideas would be so helpful. thanks!!!
one other thing I have noticed, on my older modem I have to run it on USB3, this one is on USB2 and I can not change it.
does this tell me anything?
