Re: T-MOBILE BYOD w/ EM7455

Re: 4 x 4 Antenna question

Depends on the situation. the Radomes are higher bandwidth and do great in line of sight, or near, scenarios. The High Beam X2 would be an upgrade in power and capability over the wavefirm panel and perform well in non-line of sight scenarios. https://thewirelesshaven.com/shop/antennas/outdoor/outdo...

Re: Bandit WG1608 / T-Mobile SIM - Can't connect to service

Might work if you mask the imei, google that, and make sure the modem is in MBIM mode as well as you have IPV4 and IPV6 TTL/HL set to 65.

Make sure both modems are in MBIM or QMI, not one of each.

Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

The ToS there is CYA documentation. Calyx links their donators to the hacks forum and facebook group just for that use. ;)

You can get EM7565 imei help here maybe. NOT related to LTE HACKS, even though they copied the trademark name: https://www.facebook.com/groups/imeimagic

Re: Help choosing a modem/hotspot

The LM960 is a solid modem, it's just not as widely used mostly due to it's previous high price point. It's not really hard to setup or use.

Re: Quectel EM160R-GL

Is the EM160 installed in a USB3 enclosure as good as if it is installed directly in a router? Generally I think so, yes. It is one more piece of hardware, and I typcially prefer modem in the router, but the enclosure has power advantages as well as USB3 bus access, when usually the internal slot i...
