Does anyone have any information for cracking into the Inseego M2000 5G Hotspot?

Re: LBR20 & Verizon - hotspot or mobile data?

Almost every single major manufacturer device made to work on cellular data runs as a hotspot device and automatically counts towards hotspot data, if not every single major manufacturer device. Nergear, Inseego, Orbi, Franklin, etc. All do. The only indirect way of getting around this that I know o...

Re: New to 4g Routers

You can build that system above pretty simply and test it out wherever you're at, then if you need something like some better antennas directional or otherwise you can test out those and add them onto your system. This saves you money up front and allows you to work with the modem and router and und...

Re: New to 4g Routers

Welcome to the forum! You've come to the right place. It really depends on what you want to do. You say you just want to hook up to your laptop, assuming via Ethernet. But how powerful of the system do you want? What carriers, cellular carriers, do you want to have coverage for? All of them? Do you ...

Re: MOFI 4500 Timed out

Have you tried clearing out your browser cache or using an incognito/private browser tab? If you're using a clean browser, which can be any browser even the Microsoft browser, and you're certain that you're using the correct IP address to access it, then you might have something going on with the co...

Re: New Quectel EM160R-GL [sim-missing]

.... Is it possible the EM7455 damaged the new adapter? Maybe, it's hard to tell. I've not seen any issues with the SIM slots on those adapters, that I can recall anyway. That's a tough one for sure. You may want to try a simple adapter like this one: https://ltefix.com/shop/pcie-m-2/m-2-ngff/usb-m...

Re: New Quectel EM160R-GL [sim-missing]

If you plug it into your rpi, it shows up and doesn't disappear, but wont show the SIM?

To be honest I can't stand Windows 10 for modem stuff, and so do all of my modem work on a dedicated Win7 machine.

Re: New Quectel EM160R-GL [sim-missing]

Have you tried a brand new usb cable? Swapped cables between usb adapters?

Can you upload pics of the two adapters here?

Re: Awesome Download but Virtually no Upload

Thanks for the replies. To answer your questions, its all the time. Fast.com shows the best upload at maybe 1mbps but its consistent across all the tests regardless of signal, bands, location etc. Digging deeper I've found that using a VPN on my computer and phone (I have NORD) allows all the speed...
