Re: RM500Q-AE with WG1608D-M, RV Mobile and the issue of what I need
The RM500Q will work in that enclosure from LTE FIX. The router you have will work as tethered but you probably need to flash the router to openWRT or Rooter as I don't think the Netgear has the cellular modem drivers. You will also likely need to use the enclosures aux power port (simple 5V 2A cell...

Re: Question about the ZTE Home Wireless WiFi 4G LTE
Which device is it specifically? Do you have a model number? If it has external antenna connectors that are not marked for Wifi, they are usually for the cellular. Sometimes if there are two, and the device is a new style model, they will disable the 4 internal cellular antennas and only rely on wha...

Re: Looking For Tutoral On Setting Up My Quectel EM-12G Modem
Welcome!
You need MHF4 connectors on all M.2 style modems ("EM" modems, like EM12, EM20, EM7565, etc)

Re: WE826-Q - Is there an LTE modem?
Its showing up there as "USB Modem" which is technically correct, but the details of VID and PID show it to be an off brand modem I cant really find any info for. This may be the issue, driver support. you can try to set the modem to a ttyUSB2 so that the firmware can connect to the AT command termi...

Re: New ZBT WG1608 5G-ready router + GoldenOrb firmware
I was thinking of getting the 4x4 antenna, but T-Mobile uses band 71 / n71 in my area which is 600Mhz. That antenna claims to support 700-3800Mhz, so I'm guessing it's going to attenuate the 600Mhz signal too much. Anyone know a good 5G 4x4 antenna that also supports the 600Mhz bands? I've used min...

Re: Equipment needed to upgrade to quectel 5g modem
Jump up to the WG1608D-M router with another antenna pair (best to have all matching antenanas), as well as upgraded power adapter of at least 4A. https://ltefix.com/shop/routers/lte-routers/wg1608d-m-5g-ready-cellular-gigabit-router-with-dual-band-2-4ghz-5-8ghz-wifi/ https://ltefix.com/shop/modems/...

Re: 5G multi-carrier M.2 modem
The problem you will run into with the mmWave support is the severe lack of antennas available to the consumer market, and may not be any for some time.
