Re: Sierra Wireless Modems - Programming Carrier Bands

This Bloody well wonderful. Thank you Jim.

I'm getting much faster speeds now on b66/b71 (was on b41 which was not even giving me data). Getting one SCC state (was hoping for more but I guess this tower does not support or have, set it to b66,b71,b4,b12

Re: Help: Band b41 no internet WG3526P/EM7411

Replying to myself. Found this The list of AT commands: http://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=364&start=10 https://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=364 Worked great. THANK YOU @JimHelms for posting this SUPER nice spreadsheet. No more band b41 and much faster speeds, locked it to B66,B71,B12,B4....

Help: Band b41 no internet WG3526P/EM7411

Anyone else using this band (tmobile)? Antenna/router used to always connect to b66 with CA from b71 or b12 with about the same RSRP/RSSI but higher RSRQ as b41. Today it was b41 has zero internet, resetting it won't switch (at first I thought it was just slower but my load balance was just failing ...

Re: Troubleshooting Connection Issues - Sierra Wireless Modems and Routers

Thank you. Did EVERY single one of these (apart from MBIM composition as didn't know what that was) and it appears to have fixed my ongoing, never ending issues with band b41 dropped with a CAT7 EM7411 / WG3526-P combo. All other bands where fine and was just getting ready to ask for help in blockin...

Re: What is RSSI vs RSRP? - Just want a yes/no confirm

Thank you. Very helpful. got a little better RSRQ by moving it around (Grid type). System mode: LTE PS state: Attached LTE band: B41 LTE bw: 20 MHz PCC RxM RSSI: -73 PCC RxM RSRP: -102 RSRQ (dB): -9.1 SINR (dB): 9.2 Now if I can just figure out why the modem keeps disconnecting every few seconds.

What is RSSI vs RSRP? - Just want a yes/no confirm

Is this correct (I'm fiddling with my antennas again, just moved spots). Just want to confirm: Rxm RSSI is the LTE signal strength (primary input) RxD RSSI is the LTE signal strength (secondary input) RSRQ (dB): is the signal quality So I can ignore RxM RSRP db as these are the indoor antennas (i'm ...

Re: How put WG3526 in bridge mode

Edit: Found in search: https://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2433&p=16979&hilit=bridge#p16979 Sounds like it is not possible with the openWRT software on WG3526? That still the case? Should I switch to something else (software wise)? Edit 2: Will try this: https://ltehacks.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t...

How put WG3526 in bridge / pass through mode

Have a mofi 4500 and LTEFix WG3526 load balanced by a TL-R600VPN (cat5 from that to PCs) and then a Wifi5 TP Link 1900AC router for good strong wifi (covers every spot in the home, antennas in LTE routers turned off). Speeds range from 5-20mb (I am a long way from towers/lots of trees this is best I...

Re: Which to buy LTEfix.com for MIMO + question about 2nd modem antennas

The miss matching is not recommended at all, and I do agree with that. But the installs I did, the colleagues insisted on the Bolton and only one. I went vertical alignment with the 2nd yagi. As far as antenna tilt, I have tested it and have not seen any improvement. Keep in mind I'm usually on foo...

Re: Which to buy LTEfix.com for MIMO + question about 2nd modem antennas

Happy to help. I also run a two router setup like you, two routers, one on Tmo and one on ATT. My Tmo router is the same as yours, 3526, Bolton on it, 7411 and I CA 66 with 71 and get great performance. Hey, the Wilson yagis are 698 if I remember correctly. So if you keep it, you upgrade the second...
