Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

The ToS there is CYA documentation. Calyx links their donators to the hacks forum and facebook group just for that use. ;) You can get EM7565 imei help here maybe. NOT related to LTE HACKS, even though they copied the trademark name: https://www.facebook.com/groups/imeimagic Whether CYA or not it i...

Re: Bandit WG1608 / T-Mobile SIM - Can't connect to service

The modem is a Quetcel RM502Q-AE. Apologies for not including that in my initial post. Have not had much luck yet on support from the seller, as of right now they've said my SIM must not have a data plan. Which it does; I can plug the SIM into a phone and use data, make calls, etc. Also forgot to m...

Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

Out of curiosity I searched Calyx site concerning sim transfer: https://calyxinstitute.org/membership/internet/4g-lte-faq They say: Q: Can I take the SIM card out of the hotspot you provide and use it in another device? A: Our reseller agreement with our equipment and service supplier, Mobile Citize...

Re: Building Home WI-FI

... I am basically trying to understand the setup. In my mind its Antenna > Router/Modem > WiFi Well sorta of but the details are Antennas (if MIMO), proper connectors for cable, the run of 50 ohm cable to your modem, cable connectors to the device containing the modem (could also be a router/wifi ...

Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

On your first post you said: "Under Modem--> Network Status -->General Information, the modem lists Sierra Wireless EM7565 listed as Modem 1. I also noticed under the Miscellaneous tab--> Current Modem, It states Modem Present/Not Connected." Is this still the case? Are you running any TTL rules? Yo...

Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

You are connected LTE on Band 66. with really good signal numbers I would think that means you have succeeded in getting internet. Maybe that is what the smile emoticon signifies. If so good job!

Re: NEXP1GO and EM7565 Connection Issues

Not running Golden Orb at the moment but you can find the option somewhere in the settings. There is also ways to do it with AT commands but would have to look it up via a search.

Re: please help with my internet m1100 nighthawk signal

Explained best here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t1RJsYymGg

Any home router will do.

Oh BTW, change the routers IP before mucking with turning off the M1 IP bypass if the routers administration access URL is also 191.168.1.1.
Do it without being connected to the M1. Saves on hassle.

Re: T-Mobile as Backup

There is a thread ongoing right now about 2 people with difficulties in getting a Calyx sim to work in a device other than provided by Calyx. On the subject of which is more reliable I would think the stand alone data plan would be. Phone plans that have been jiggered to work as data devices so that...

Re: Building Home WI-FI

I may be misreading the OP. But it seems to say he can not get T-Mobile at his location. I also did not see any mention of phone type.
