Re: LTE Provider options for Home Internet

Honestly, I try to avoid any providers that route their traffic through different/additional portals than the main providers APN. This is why visible ping times suck. Granted i've not tried them to see if you can avoid their APN or not, but initially liked the idea of a carrier (US Mobile) having a...

Re: WG1608/WG3526 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi Working with 19.07 Snapshot

I tried this firmware, but there seemed to be an issue with my network devices connecting through the router, even though the router shows its connected to LTE network. Any ideas on what may be the issue? Any help is appreciated. Thanks! First I would test the sim card in a phone to make sure the w...

If so what are the limitations? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to use it in a Orbi LBR20. Thanks.

Re: T-Mobile Hotspot Masking

Currently pretty much all phone plans have some kind of hotspot limit. If you don't want to get a full blown router to bypass the limit, you could go with an inexpensive GL-Inet MT300N mini travel router smaller than a pack of cigarettes. https://www.amazon.com/GL-iNET-GL-MT300N-V2-Repeater-300Mbps-...

Re: LTE Provider options for Home Internet

ok thanks will try these out. Is it possible my phone changed? Been using the same phone all this time. A Samsung S8+. Just one day this started happening. Yes, it's possible that a firmware/app upgrade on your phone has a new hotspot/firewall implementation which is not passing the modified TTL/DN...

Re: Modem Upgrade Choices

Thanks, i've implemented your suggestion and will see how that works out going forward. Just got my LM960A18 in today with some new antennas/cables. Excited to see what the new modem and 4x4 mimo might yield. Another solution to keep the mobile connection alive constantly is by streaming a web page...

Re: LTE Provider options for Home Internet

So none of your devices work all the time when you are tethering? Is anyone have issues with this with the sim card inside a modem router? The tethering issue with certain phones is likely caused by the implementation of the hotspot app/firewall in the phone. Instead of the stock hotspot/tethering ...

Re: AT&T Post Pay Tablet plan Good Tablets to get LTE Service

Hello, Are you saying that it has 4G Lte in both the ipad and Nighthawk? If so that is to be expected. If the device you used to get the card doesn't have 5G the card will not be provisioned with it. Honestly don't even know if 5G is part of the deal with unlimited ipad/tablet plans. This is the re...

Re: Wireguard server on PiOS working, Android connects, but WG3526 won't

Ok, so after about 12 hours staight working on this, I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Supposedly the latest GoldenOrb firmware has WireGuard built in without having to install extra packages. Here's the latest WG3526 firmware as of today. ZBT-WG3526-GO2021-07-19.zip http://www.aturnofthenut.c...
