You could also tether from your tablet but you still need to change TTL on the router otherwise after 15GB of hotspot use it goes down to 600Kbps. If you are able to change the TTL then it's unlimited non-throttled use unless the tower is congested during peak times.

Re: 2nd ISP addition? Need non-throttled/unlimited LTE.

Yeah buy the cheapest LTE ipad/tablet you can find that works for Verizon then just add a tablet line if you are on Verizon postpaid. As for your Netgear wireless router, you probably need to flash to custom OpenWRT or DD-WRT in order to modify the TTL to bypass hotspot detection if you want to save...

Re: 2nd ISP addition? Need non-throttled/unlimited LTE.

I see the WE826 is about half the price of the WG3526, what is the difference? Noticeable details: WE826 - 100Mbps port speed - WiFi is just ok. WE3526 - 1000Mbps port speed - Better WiFi, not the greatest. Do you happen to have a router other than the Netgear laying around? You don't have to get t...

Re: MOFI4500 / T-Mobile VS. Verizon Confusion. Fast Vs. Slow

Not necessarily. It has to do with how many devices you're behind. You just need to increase it to 66 or make custom firewall rules to do so if there isn't an option like GoldenOrb. I set mine to 67 before I could get my end user pc to ping router to get a TTL reply of 65. A TTL reply of 65 is known...

Re: Best options for combining multiple modems on the go

I can answer about TTL. On the OMR's firewall page, there is a custom rules tab that you could enter the TTL settings like you normally would. You just need to reference to the correct interface from each WAN connection.

Re: CBA850 no valid i.p. address

ok, changed the network card from auto to manual and used the ip's from above. that gave me the correct info doing an ipconfig but CBA850 still would not connect and open the u.i. without doing a factory reset. i was then able to login to the u.i. but in less than a minute it disconnected and lost ...

Re: CBA850 no valid i.p. address

You could manually set the address to see if it would let you access it. IP: 192.168.0.5 Netmask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.10.5 / 255.255.255.0 / 192.168.10.1

As for the lights, it should be in the CP manual. Look it up for your model.
