Re: Antenna recommendations

Thank you for the recommendation So I would be better going with Directional Antenna's then with a outside Omni antenna . As long as you have the time and willingness to determine which direction the tower is in relationship to your house, I would say yes to directional antennas. You also need two ...

Re: Antenna recommendations

I'd recommend buying some external antennas, and giving it a shot by testing outside before permanently mounting. It looks like you could benefit from some based on your signal stats. I'd recommend two of these: https://ltefix.com/shop/antennas/698-2700mhz-yagi-radome-9dbi-11dbi-4g-lte-directional-a...

Re: Looking for advice and thoughts on this antenna.

Just thought I'd add that more than likely if you shorten this cable, your RSSI values will go from about -88 to about -70 which is almost a 100 times stronger signal.

Re: (Another) need advice on best antennas?

Usually I try to avoid shooting over top of a metal roof, cause normally metal roofs cause reflections and multipath issues (I've had to deal with this as I have a metal roof as well). That being said, only way to know for sure is to try it. I think based on your other posts you're already getting p...

Re: (Another) need advice on best antennas?

honestly, that's really good for just little omni antennas.

I wouldn't change it, if it's not broken. An external or bigger antenna isn't going to get you a stronger signal than you already have, based on those signal stats you shared.

Re: Looking for advice and thoughts on this antenna.

Sorry again for the super delayed response. The cable length is FOR SURE the issue here. I suspect that if you get the modem/router closer with some LMR-400 cable, you will see a significant increase in speed. See the attached screenshot of cable losses for RG-6. I would move the modem closer, and n...

Re: Help with 7455 and T-Mobile

I would set the TTL properly.

Is this test in the same area as with the phone?

Re: Sim Compatibility to Mc7455?

Usually carriers require you to have a device that is compatible with their network.

As far as I know though, the MC7455 will work just fine with sprint.
